Baseball players from 11 different clubs became the first ever ideal team of the season in Major League Baseball. The 2019 team was formed after an online vote by fans and an expert evaluation by a team of league prediction by bestsocceradvice specialists, with the two sides forming 50% of each choice.

A total of 16 players were listed - five starting pitchers, two relievers, one catcher, four infielders, three outfielders and one DH. The superrotation included Gerrit Cole (Houston Astros), Justin Verlander (Houston Astros), Jacob Degrom (New York Mets), Max Browser (Washington Nationals) and Stephen Strasberg (Washington Nationals).




Bulpen was formed by Kirby Yates (San Diego Padres) and Josh Heather (Milwaukee Brewers). JET Realmuto (Philadelphia Phillies) became their catcher, and Nelson Cruz (Minnesota Twins) took the role of DH. The infield featured Pete Alonso (New York Mets) at first base, DJ Lemayhey (New York Yankees) at second, Xander Bogarts (Boston Red Sox) as shortstop and Anthony Randon (Washington Nationals) at third. And in the outfield, Mike Trout (Los Angeles Angels), Cody Bellinger (Los Angeles Dodgers) and Christian Jelic (Milwaukee Brewers) stood. The baseball editor of the world media gave his vote in the period November 25-December 3, his selection coinciding with more than 80% with the final version of the star lineup. The gap is only in three of the 16 positions - Jordan Alvarez (Houston Astros) as DH, Aroldis Chapman (New York Yankees) as a receiver instead of Yates and Ronald Akunja, Jr. (Atlanta Braves) as an outfielder instead of Yelich.



However, each of these three fell into the B-team of Major League Baseball, drawn in parallel with the first team. It also included a total of 16 baseball players, distributed according to the same principle.

Second Lieutenant Liam Hendricks (Oakland Atletico);

Catcher Yasmany Grandal (Milwaukee Brewers);Braves), Jose Altove (2B, Houston Astros), Alex Bregman (3B, Houston Astros) and Marcus Semian (SS, Oakland Atletico);

and outfielder Juan Soto (Washington Nationals) and Mookie Bets (Boston Red Sox).
