Red Bull has decided on a new leadership and management strategy.


After the death of Red Bull co-founder and co-owner Dietrich Mateschitz, his son Mark sent a letter to the Formula 1 team stating that, according to the will of his father and in accordance with agreements with the Thai partners, a new management structure would be created for Red Bull.


The three-member management team will include Franz Watzlawick (CEO), Alexander Kirchmaier (CFO) and Oliver Mintzlaff (CEO Corporate Projects and Investments).


It is expected that the Red Bull racing division - the Formula 1 team and the created motor division - will be under Mintzlaff`s department.


Almost certainly, these changes in the company`s management will not affect the work of the Red Bull racing team, for which Christian Horner will continue to be responsible.
