Soccer prediction The owner of San Jose on the restructuring: Karlsson is not the most team player, you can`t build a team on Mayer. Hertl said: Hasso, let me go. I have three knee injuries, one more and I`ll be done

The owner of San Jose spoke about the team`s restructuring. The Californian club mentioned by soccer tips register has not reached the playoffs since the 2018/19 season.
- Is it your decision to go to peresthree points in 2022?
- I wanted to do this five years ago. But the past [sports] leadership, I quote, said that this was not their vision.
The transfer of Erik Karlsson was perhaps the final attempt to maintain the level of the Joe Thornton and Joe Pavelski era. But first of all, just one player is not enough.
Secondly, you know Erik Karlsson`s strengths and weaknesses. He wasn`t the most, how shall I put it, team player. He was good, but probably very good on a very strong team.
Our good hockey players began to leave the team more often. We let them go. The situation was not suitable. I think Brent Burns didn`t like that the team was going downhill and one star player wasn`t going to help. We needed more players. We needed someone who could score, we needed defenders.
That`s why it was right to let go of even relatively good players, such as Timo Meier. But he is not the player to build a team around.
Then Tomas Hertl came and said: Hasso, please let me go. I played for 10 years for San Jose. I did my best. I have three knee injuries. If I get another one, I`ll be done. I don`t have much left to play. Let me go to a team where I have a chance to win the damn Stanley Cup.
I replied: Tomas, we are letting you go. Which I regret because I liked him. We always had fun together and joked. He always smiled. Nice guy, " said San Jose owner Hasso Plattner.
